60 Seconds Of Awesome: WW2 FG-1D Corsair Fighter

Here's a short 60 second look at New Zealand's only surviving WW2 Corsair fighter -- a Goodyear-built FG-1D called 'Josephine'.

This aircraft arrived in New Zealand late in the war, and never saw active service, but it is representative of all the other Corsairs, including the Chance Vought-built F4U models that were operated by the Royal New Zealand Air Force in the Pacific Theatre.

Let us know in the comments below, what you think of our new '60 Seconds Of Awesome' videos, of which this Corsair video is one. We want to give you 60 seconds worth of high octane aviation video so you can watch something quickly, and still get a 'buzz' from it. Does it work?
